Copying is accomplished with an Option-drag or a drag-Option technique. (You must hold down the Option key until the mouse button is released in order to copy a selection.)
Note: If you also hold down the Shift key as you create a copy, the movement of the copy is constrained to horizontal or vertical only. If you hold down the Option key before dragging, the entire path is selected and copied.
• To copy selected anchor points, begin dragging and then hold down the Option key.
• To copy a selected curved segment and reshape the copy, begin to drag the segment, then hold down the Option key.
• To copy a selected path, hold down the Option key and drag.
